Charles “Chuck” Toarmino, was a professional singer, drummer and band leader. He was a widely known entertainer in Niagara and Erie counties in the 1960s, '70s and '80s. A native of Niagara Falls, Toarmino had his own band, Chuck and The Counts playing with fellow musicians Bob Passmore, Bill Philiips and Joe Riggereo. In later years, his. led the own band which included other talented musicians from Niagara Falls; Joe Campese, Jeff Palsone, Peter Paonessa, and Vince Pecorraro, where they performed in many nightclubs in Niagara Falls and also toured throughout the United States and Canada with many shows at popular venues in Las Vegas. Chuck or “Cazz” as he was fondly called by his bandmates was remarkably entertaining and nothing but class when he hit the stage.
